Water Camp Resort – April 26-27, 2011
It has been a year or so since Dih and I had a break. And now that I am on vacation leave, we decided to search for a new resort on the web to explore this summer. We have been to a few resorts in Cavite but this one for this year has been different.
Found from the web a year ago, Water Camp Resort became appealing to us. Located at Josephine Village, Panamitan, Kawit, Cavite, we thought of it as an expensive resort to spend with, but to our surprise, the pricings were affordable and soon then realized it was cheaper than the other resorts we have been to. We keep on browsing on their website the accommodations, foods, pools and other amenities and found it to be very interesting to explore and not to mention the excitement of being unfamiliar with the place that we have to use the google earth to trek and locate the said resort.
As early as 6am we are all set with our backpacks and jump-started the road trip with our motorcycle (have it loaded with gas in case we got lost). To our surprise, the place was very easy to find and very accessible for commuters with almost 20mins travel from Imus, Cavite, no traffic, no hassle and manageable to track.
The resort was big enough to accommodate their guests for they have plenty of picnic tables, gazebos and huts. For guests who would want to stay overnight or 24 hours they can choose from the Water Camp Inns and Family Villas depending on the number of guests. Dih and I chose the standard room good for two persons with one big bed, a hot & cold shower, T&B, TV with cable, fully air-conditioned, a table inside and outside the room amounting to Php2,000 only for 24 hours (entrance fee included). We opt to have our own room to secure our belongings, and have a comfortable place to spend the rest of the night.
We were so excited that after we checked-in we started to explore the resort, took pictures, ate breakfast and jumped on the pool. We found the place to be very family-oriented and very safe for kids considering there are about five lifeguards on each pool standing on every corner checking the safety of the kids. The deepest pool is only 5 feet and the kid’s pool has mini slides and playground that makes it very appealing to children and adults as well. They also have a mini wave pool where you can experience being on a beach with waves.
You can also bring foods and drinks, good thing here is that they are not so strict with foods even if they have a Little Josephine restaurant inside open for 24 hours also and some food carts, of course liquors are not allowed.
What also satisfies us is their room accommodation, the room was very clean, and we have clean white towels, bed sheets, pillows and blanket. Also they gave us a ‘good morning’ kit containing toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and soap. They also have a 24 hours room service where you can call them anytime for cleaning and also to deliver food and other needs.
